Overview
.hk is the country-code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Introduced on 3 January 1990, it is administered by the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Ltd. (HKIRC). The namespace is widely used in Hong Kong and includes both English (.hk) and an internationalized Chinese ccTLD (.香港).

The Hong Kong Domain Name Registration Corporation Limited (HKDNR), a wholly owned subsidiary of HKIRC, manages day-to-day registration services.
